who I am, what I do, and where I live.
Welcome to my website, dear reader! I’m Stacey Cahill and I have a few surprises up my sleeve. At first glance, I could be described as a middle-aged woman from Nebraska, who has been blessed with a husband, two kids, a super smart dog, and a decent place to live. But, I am much more than that! I have dabbled in so many things because I’m forever curious; seeking relationship and understanding, inspired to love, learn and grow.
Some of the irrelevant and unknown facts about me include the following; I hold a first degree black belt in Taekwondo and am trained in Kenpo Karate. I have multiple licenses in the state of Nebraska, the first granted was a driver’s license at age 16, but spans a variety of others including an Emergency Medical Responder, an Independent Mental Health Practitioner, Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Massage Therapist, Establishment holder for Massage Business (because that is a thing to prevent human trafficking), and a Marriage and Family Therapist. I wasn’t exaggerating when I said I like to learn!
So, when I got this hairbrained idea to write a novel, my friends and family weren’t surprised. They understand my driven nature and decided to get out of my way and let me do my thing with full-on support. My first novel, Traffic Stop: Human Division, has taken over six years of stolen snippets of time to complete, and I’m in process to find a publishing company who will take the project on.
Mission Statement
We can no longer be silent. We stand to be the voice for those entrapped by the billion-dollar Human Trafficking industry. We want parents and grandparents to keep their children close. We will research, speak out, and protect boys and girls from sexual predators who are everywhere.
